This unit investigates the properties of lighting as it relates to photography. We will look at how direction and type of light can impact the perception of the subject being photographed. Cropping and rotation of the picture frame will also be addressed in order to understand how light on the surface of objects can abstract a familiar subject. Building off of prior Photoshop edits, Sepia, Duotone and Soft Focus editing will be addressed.
