Art Foundations | Value Drawing
This unit aims to teach value through a graphite drawing of a styrofoam cup sculpture created by students, inspired by David Rivera’s AP 3D Concentration portfolio. Students will learn about the value scale and seeing value on a 3D form. Students will learn how to draw value on a 3D form smoothly and between value transitions. Direction of mark-making will also be addressed. Finally, students drawings will build off of Elements and Principles of design learned about in previous lessons.
